Intro to Graphic Communications

No prerequisite; this is a prerequiste for advanced Graphic Arts courses

This introductory course will teach students to effectively communicate ideas with both digital and printed
media. Students will learn the basics of computer graphics, digital illustration, typography, layout design, idea
development, product design, and print production with industry standard resources. The projects explore a
variety of skills, techniques, media, and occupations related to the graphic arts industry. Students explore
themes important to them, while exploring this exciting field.
