Painting: Art and Politics

 

 

Prerequisite: Art Fundamentals

This course will focus on exploring individual interests and developing artworks that express concepts centered around world issues (political, social, environmental, etc.). Students will use critical thinking, the artistic process, and painting techniques to say something. Express yourself--as artists you have the power to make change. The goal is to use art to explore your concerns/opinions of the condition

of our world today and consider how you can impact the world around you.
